Low and ends up all high

There’s a spot at the very top of the stairway where nobody ever goes. It’s by the door to the roof. I’m sitting here while I wait. I can hear them calling my name, but I won’t come down until they find me. I’ll make them look for me. And then they’ll have to ask what’s wrong.
